Online courses on Legal Tech
The adventure with legal technology is a long journey, which requires us to constantly learn and develop our knowledge. I have collected some free online sources, where you can gain more insight into topics related to legal tech.
Stanford Law School is not only one of the most reputable law schools in the world, when it comes to legal expertise, but also is in the forefront of research on legal technology and the way it reshapes the lawyering of XXI century. Stanford CodeX is a program, which combines legal and technology expertise and focuses mainly on the automation and mechanization of legal analysis. It gives access to publications, videos and recordings, as well as conducts a weekly online meetup. To find out more click in the link below:
Bucerius Legal Tech Essentials 2020
This online course, conducted by a leading German law school, was supposed to be a summer program at the university campus, but due to COVID-19 it is currently a free online educational experience. The course has already started in late June and edns in early August. Online lectures are available at noon U.S. Central Time (7:00 p.m. CEST) and cover topic such as Artificial Intelligence in legal profession, online dispute resolution, legal operations and project management. Among the lecturers you can find practitioners and renowned academics (including Richard Susskind).
Legal Tech & Startups
This online course is being provided by IE Business School, which is a leading Spanish business school (however the course is available in English). Subscription to this course gives you access to videos, recordings and texts. What is more, if you decide for a paid subscription, you can verify your knowledge and pass tests in order to obtain a certificate after completing the course.
